My cousin brought a pointsettia plant to my parents last weekend. Since the sun was still out when I went to visit them, I was able to utilize that natural light to capture a few images. This star was dancing atop the plant, and against the snowy background, it really pops.
I’ve found I really like Christmas decorations this year, but just for shooting photographs of them! My husband & I really only have a tree as a decoration in our home. Decorations are pretty to look at, some of them sparkle and are just a reminder of what a beautiful time of year this really is, despite the cold weather. :-)
