Last week I was contacted by Randall Verrall of Carriage Trade Custom Jewellery. She also happens to be a close friend of mine who designs and creates classy jewellery for any occasion. Each piece is crafted with amazing detail and exceptional care. She gave me the opportunity to expand my portfolio by capturing these images. We had a great time!
Thank you to the models who were so patient with the numerous outfit changes and ordering around! You girls were fantastic to work with :)
And a huge thanks to Melanie & Andy for providing us with a gorgeous place to photograph in! They are the generous and courteous owners of London House Bed & Breakfast, located in Guelph, Ontario.
Carriage Trade will be appearing on The Wedding Ring (Kitchener-Waterloo) – watch for it!

I have ignored this blog for quite some time.
I’m not gone.
I’m just temporarily displaced.
My camera was gathering dust, until last weekend.
The weather started to get really warm, so I went out with two different photography groups.
I took a few shots.
And then I got sick :(
My full-time job is keeping me busy, and I’m traveling and working longer now. (that’s ok)
I need some inspiration.
I’ll get back into regular blogging soon enough.
Summer is almost here :-)
Did anyone else participate in Earth Hour? I did, with a glass of [yellow tail] wine. here it is by candle light.

I had a last minute shoot last night with a family I’d met almost a year ago. The mum had expressed interest to me about six months ago, and when I didn’t hear back I had assumed they had just become too busy, especially with their new baby. I sent a few messages but of course, I didn’t want to keep bugging. But then on Thursday I received an email asking if I was available the next evening! :-) Of course, I can (almost!) always squeeze in a shoot.
I was able to get in and get all the shots the family wanted. Their new baby was my first client…. and what a patient little boy he was. At only two months old!
Here is one photo I’m sharing for now… there are definitely more to come!
